Stunning piece of Herkimer Diamond with great clarity, from Herkimer County, New York, USA! These are double terminated quartz found in New York. Some vendors sell any double terminated quartz as Herkimer Diamonds, so if the price sounds too good to be true, you should be questioning their origin.

This is a beautiful piece with carbon based black mineral inclusions and rainbows. Really nice size! Note there is a chip on one of its sides from the mining process.
