Tibetan Tektites is a marketing term for what is most likely Indochinites; tektites originating from Southeast Asia.

The pieces I sourced come from a supplier who purchased them from a Tibetan in the early to mid-1990s (if the story is true!)

Around 1991, so-called “Tibetan” Tektites began appearing on the market accompanied by mystical folklore, though many geologists remained skeptical (you can read more about this here and here). Regardless of their marketing story, these are genuine tektites of extraterrestrial origin, with fascinating energetic properties.

That said, there’s no need to pay over $100 for them.
