Nuummite Metaphysical Properties

This Nuummite hits you with a force on your third eye, pushing you almost backwards. Afterwards, you can feel energy move down your spine. During this process, I envisioned a golden snake with ruby red eyes slithering down the spine. This energy settles at your root chakra and feels very grounding and re-aligning. Your back may feel super straight. 

Interestingly, this Nuummite opens up the back of your head. It works to cleanse your subconscious mind of limited and negative belief systems. While you meditate with this stone, ask for it to remove any blocks and limiting beliefs that you weren't even aware of. It is also healing for the solar plexus. 

As old belief systems that do not serve you anymore are drained away, you may feel a new, light energy come up from below from the front of your body.

What is Nuummite?

Nuummite is a rare iridescent metamorphic rock from the Nuuk region of Greenland. Rather than being a single mineral, genuine Nuummite is composed mainly of amphibole minerals, particularly from the anthophyllite–gedrite series, which create its distinctive internal flashes.

The name Nuummite means “from Nuuk,” referring to the area in Greenland where this material was first recognised and later introduced to the gemstone trade. Authentic Greenland Nuummite is highly sought after because true material is difficult to source, and many lookalike stones are incorrectly sold under the same name.

Its dark charcoal to black base is often accented by golden, bronze, coppery, or blue iridescent flashes that appear when the stone is moved in light. These flashes are not surface treatments, but natural optical effects created by the mineral structure within the rock.

This is genuine Nuummite from Nuuk, Greenland. Although this is B grade material, it is still authentic and remains a special collector stone due to its rarity, origin, and ancient geological history. Please see my blog to learn more about the difference between genuine and fake Nuummite.

Every crystal shared through Crystal Meditation is thoughtfully purified, energetically prepared, and cared for before it reaches you.

Over years of meditation, energetic practice, and working closely with crystals, I’ve come to view purification as a process of energetic recalibration — gently restoring a crystal to a clearer and more balanced energetic state.

Before arriving to their new home, crystals often pass through many environments, storage spaces, and hands along their journey. My intention with this process is to help clear stagnant energetic residue and support the crystal’s natural resonance and clarity.

After exploring many different purification methods over time, I found sound-based energy work using Angel tuning forks to be one of the most aligned and effective approaches for energetic clearing and recalibration.

Each crystal is carefully purified using high-frequency 4096 Hz sound, helping create a calmer and more energetically aligned foundation before being shared with you.

Once energetically cleared, every crystal is then prepared through meditation with intention, presence, and unconditional love. This is the activation. 

For me, unconditional love represents the deepest state of compassion, connection, and healing — something cultivated through many years of personal inner work, emotional healing, and spiritual practice.

This intention is consciously infused into every crystal shared through Crystal Meditation, with the hope that each piece supports greater clarity, emotional grounding, healing, and connection within your own journey.
