Pure charoite does not occur in isolation in nature. It is always intergrown with other minerals such as aegirine, quartz, microcline, frankamenite, and tinaksite. Also, Charoite itself has a fibrous structure, which gives it a distinctive silvery, silky chatoyance when polished at the correct angle.

This particular Charoite tumble contains a significant amount of black aegirine, creating strong contrast within the stone. On the richer purple areas, you can clearly observe the fibrous texture of the charoite under strong lighting, revealing its natural shimmer. 

On the opposite, lighter grey side, this Charoite is abundant in frankamenite — another rare mineral commonly associated with the stone — adding further geological depth and complexity to the specimen.
