Libyan Desert Glass, also known as Libyan Golden Tektite, formed around 29 million years ago when an extraordinary cosmic event unleashed temperatures intense enough to fuse Sahara sand into coveted crystal. Treasured by the ancient Egyptians, Libyan Desert Glass was fashioned into sacred jewellery and amulets, revered not only for its beauty but for its perceived celestial power.
