What is Thousand Layer Quartz?

Thousand Layer Quartz is a descriptive trade name for a type of included quartz, often also known as Garden Quartz, Lodolite, or Scenic Quartz. These crystals contain natural mineral inclusions arranged in layered formations, creating landscape-like scenes, soft internal patterns, and earthy colours preserved within the quartz.

The layered appearance forms as the quartz grows in stages. During pauses in growth, fine mineral particles may settle on the crystal surface before later quartz growth seals them inside. These inclusions can include minerals such as chlorite, iron oxides, feldspar, clay minerals, or other natural particles, producing green, red, brown, white, or sparkling effects within the crystal.

Each Thousand Layer Quartz point is completely unique, with no two internal landscapes forming exactly the same. The delicate layers, scenic inclusions, and occasional sparkling areas make these points especially beautiful for collectors and those drawn to crystals with visible growth history.

Every crystal shared through Crystal Meditation is thoughtfully purified, energetically prepared, and cared for before it reaches you.

Over years of meditation, energetic practice, and working closely with crystals, I’ve come to view purification as a process of energetic recalibration — gently restoring a crystal to a clearer and more balanced energetic state.

Before arriving to their new home, crystals often pass through many environments, storage spaces, and hands along their journey. My intention with this process is to help clear stagnant energetic residue and support the crystal’s natural resonance and clarity.

After exploring many different purification methods over time, I found sound-based energy work using Angel tuning forks to be one of the most aligned and effective approaches for energetic clearing and recalibration.

Each crystal is carefully purified using high-frequency 4096 Hz sound, helping create a calmer and more energetically aligned foundation before being shared with you.

Once energetically cleared, every crystal is then prepared through meditation with intention, presence, and unconditional love. This is the activation. 

For me, unconditional love represents the deepest state of compassion, connection, and healing — something cultivated through many years of personal inner work, emotional healing, and spiritual practice.

This intention is consciously infused into every crystal shared through Crystal Meditation, with the hope that each piece supports greater clarity, emotional grounding, healing, and connection within your own journey.
