This Seraphinite slice showcases shimmering, feather-like silver-white patterns with a silky chatoyancy that creates a wing-like effect. These natural markings are characteristic of Seraphinite and inspired its name after the Seraphim, the highest order of angels.
Size: 7.5cm x 5.5cm
Weight: 31.2g
Origin: Russia
This Seraphinite reflects deep renewal, inner transformation and a gradual movement from heaviness toward greater clarity and balance. Its symbolism may serve as a reminder that God can renew what feels weary within us, bringing the heart and mind back into alignment with what is good and true. It points toward transformation that unfolds patiently rather than all at once.
“Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.”
— 2 Corinthians 4:16

What is Seraphinite?
Seraphinite is not a separate mineral species but a gem-quality variety of clinochlore, a mineral in the chlorite group. Clinochlore is a hydrous magnesium-aluminium silicate that can contain varying amounts of iron, contributing to its deep green colour. Its distinctive silver, feather-like patterns are caused by microscopic fibrous crystal structures that reflect light in different directions, producing its characteristic shimmering appearance.
