What is Quartz with Chalcopyrite & Galena?

An intriguing Quartz specimen from Jiangxi, China, featuring natural metallic mineralisation in golden, dark grey, and purplish-brown tones. The golden areas are likely Chalcopyrite, while the darker metallic sections appear to be Galena. The reddish-brown colouring is most likely iron-rich mineral staining, possibly Hematite.

Chalcopyrite is a copper iron sulphide mineral known for its metallic golden colour, while Galena is a lead sulphide mineral with a dark silver-grey metallic appearance. These minerals can occur together in mineral-rich ore environments, often forming alongside quartz and other sulphide minerals.

The combination of quartz, chalcopyrite, galena, and possible hematite gives this specimen its striking mix of sparkle, metallic contrast, and earthy colouration. Because the minerals appear naturally intergrown, this piece preserves a beautiful snapshot of the geological conditions in which it formed.

Every crystal shared through Crystal Meditation is thoughtfully purified, energetically prepared, and cared for before it reaches you.

Over years of meditation, energetic practice, and working closely with crystals, I’ve come to view purification as a process of energetic recalibration — gently restoring a crystal to a clearer and more balanced energetic state.

Before arriving to their new home, crystals often pass through many environments, storage spaces, and hands along their journey. My intention with this process is to help clear stagnant energetic residue and support the crystal’s natural resonance and clarity.

After exploring many different purification methods over time, I found sound-based energy work using Angel tuning forks to be one of the most aligned and effective approaches for energetic clearing and recalibration.

Each crystal is carefully purified using high-frequency 4096 Hz sound, helping create a calmer and more energetically aligned foundation before being shared with you.

Once energetically cleared, every crystal is then prepared through meditation with intention, presence, and unconditional love. This is the activation. 

For me, unconditional love represents the deepest state of compassion, connection, and healing — something cultivated through many years of personal inner work, emotional healing, and spiritual practice.

This intention is consciously infused into every crystal shared through Crystal Meditation, with the hope that each piece supports greater clarity, emotional grounding, healing, and connection within your own journey.
