This is an exceptionally clear quartz featuring what is likely a prominent epidote–clinozoisite inclusion. Large, well-formed inclusions of this kind are uncommon, especially in quartz of such outstanding clarity. Epidote is the iron-bearing member of the series, while clinozoisite is the more aluminium-rich form, and the two can naturally blend together within the same crystal. The inclusion also shows tiny secondary crystals that appear to have formed on its surface during growth.

This piece has two small chips on the sides (see final photos), and the price reflects this. When displayed lying flat, the chips are not easily noticeable.
