What is Mica in Fluorite?

Mica and fluorite formed from mineral-rich fluids as conditions changed during crystal growth. Mica crystallised first, then fluorite grew around and between the mica flakes, trapping them within the fluorite. When the rough material was later shaped and polished into a sphere, these natural layers and inclusions became visible throughout the stone, making each sphere unique. Mica is also known for its perfect cleavage, allowing it to split into extremely thin sheets that were once used as window panes.
