What is a Manifestation Quartz?

Manifestation Quartz is a marketing name refering to a quartz crystal that contains a smaller crystal fully enclosed within it, often described as a “crystal within a crystal.” The name comes from the idea that the inner crystal amplifies the overall energy of the piece which supports manifestation.

A small quartz crystal begins growing inside an open cavity (called a vug) within the rock. Later, conditions underground change and more silica-rich fluid enters the cavity, allowing additional quartz growth to occur around it.

Instead of forming as a completely separate crystal, the new quartz continues crystallizing and gradually encloses the earlier crystal. This is similar to how phantom quartz records multiple growth stages.
