Faden Quartz, is a unique variety of quartz crystal distinguished by a natural white “thread” running through its centre. This striking feature is formed through a rare geological process where the crystal fractures and then heals itself, continuing to grow over time.

These Faden Quartz crystals from Pakistan formed in tectonically active environments, where natural earth movements caused repeated breaking and regrowth. As silica-rich fluids flowed through the fractures, the crystal reconnected along the same plane, creating the delicate internal thread known as the faden.

Each piece is a natural record of this process — a crystal that has quite literally broken and reformed, preserving its growth history within its structure.
