Purple Labradorite carving from Madagascar displays beautiful blue-violet flashes that reveal themselves when the stone is angled in sunlight. Originally, the Eye of Providence is rooted in Christian symbolism of the Trinity and God’s watchful care over humanity. This was later unfortunately adopted by Freemasonry. This labradorite carving reclaims its original Christian meaning.
Size: 5cm x 3cm

What is Labradorite?
Labradorite is a variety of plagioclase feldspar known for its striking optical effect, called labradorescence. The flashes of blue, green, gold, orange, pink, violet, or red come from light interacting with microscopic internal layers within the stone. Each piece has a unique pattern of colour, with blue and green being common and warmer tones such as pink, orange, and red often more unusual.
