What is Flower Agate?

Flower Agate, also known as Cherry Blossom Agate, is a beautiful variety of included chalcedony admired for its soft floral patterns. These flower-like formations are created by plume-like or botryoidal chalcedony inclusions that appear suspended within the stone, giving the impression of blossoms opening beneath the surface.

Chalcedony is a microcrystalline form of quartz, meaning it is made from tiny quartz crystals too small to be seen with the naked eye. In Flower Agate, variations in mineral growth and silica deposition create soft plumes, clouds, and floral shapes, making each piece naturally unique.
