This unique crystal cluster has a intriguing chromatic quality—its colours shift with the light, appearing more green under direct light and more blue in the shade. One half of the cluster is covered in a sparkly, sugary druze, while the other half displays a pseudomorph formation, where a different mineral (possibly calcite) is growing over the original structure. 

These types of clusters are often marketed as rainbow amethyst, likely because they are very pale amethyst crystals with mineral inclusions that alter their usual purple hue. Though technically they could be called coloured quartz, "rainbow amethyst" is clearly the more appealing and marketable name.
