Blue Fluorite with Quartz from Inner Mongolia

Blue Fluorite from Inner Mongolia is highly admired for its saturated colour, clarity, and unusual mineral associations. This specimen features blue fluorite with delicate white quartz growths, creating a striking contrast between the deep blue green crystal and the sparkling quartz surface.

The quartz appears to have formed during a later stage of mineral growth, settling over parts of the fluorite and creating a textured, pseudomorph-like effect. In mineralogy, a true pseudomorph forms when one mineral replaces another while preserving the original crystal shape, so these quartz formations are especially interesting for collectors because they suggest a complex growth history.

Inner Mongolia, particularly the Huanggang mining district, is known for producing exceptional fluorite and quartz specimens. These minerals can crystallise together in mineral-rich hydrothermal environments, where changing fluid chemistry allows different minerals to form in stages. The result is a beautifully layered specimen that preserves more than one moment of geological growth.

The blue colour in fluorite is caused by subtle changes within the crystal structure rather than surface colouring. Pure fluorite is colourless, but trace elements, natural radiation, and structural defects known as colour centres can alter the way the crystal absorbs light, producing shades of blue, green, purple, yellow, and other colours. In blue fluorite, these colour centres are often associated with rare earth elements such as yttrium or with radiation-related changes within the fluorite lattice.

Every crystal shared through Crystal Meditation is thoughtfully purified, energetically prepared, and cared for before it reaches you.

Over years of meditation, energetic practice, and working closely with crystals, I’ve come to view purification as a process of energetic recalibration — gently restoring a crystal to a clearer and more balanced energetic state.

Before arriving to their new home, crystals often pass through many environments, storage spaces, and hands along their journey. My intention with this process is to help clear stagnant energetic residue and support the crystal’s natural resonance and clarity.

After exploring many different purification methods over time, I found sound-based energy work using Angel tuning forks to be one of the most aligned and effective approaches for energetic clearing and recalibration.

Each crystal is carefully purified using high-frequency 4096 Hz sound, helping create a calmer and more energetically aligned foundation before being shared with you.

Once energetically cleared, every crystal is then prepared through meditation with intention, presence, and unconditional love. This is the activation. 

For me, unconditional love represents the deepest state of compassion, connection, and healing — something cultivated through many years of personal inner work, emotional healing, and spiritual practice.

This intention is consciously infused into every crystal shared through Crystal Meditation, with the hope that each piece supports greater clarity, emotional grounding, healing, and connection within your own journey.
