Blue Chalcedony Sphere

I love gazing into this Blue Chalcedony Sphere as it reminds me of a planet! Incorrectly marketed as Chinese Amazonite, I thought this material was perhaps calcite, but upon acid (HCl) testing, it did not react. I came across an analysis someone else had done on this material, and it turns out to be a type of blue chalcedony! I am unsure what the brown portion is made of, perhaps iron.
