This Dendritic Fluorite point is absolutely gorgeous and I love the exploding white feather pattern of this crystal point. Sadly, this point has a slightly chipped point as shown in the photo. Fluorites are less hardy and chip more easily than quartz.

Dendritic Fluorite Facts

Dendritic Fluorite from China is an uncommon variety of included fluorite admired for its tree-like black patterns and soft white feather-like inclusions. The word “dendritic” refers to branching mineral formations that resemble tiny trees, ferns, or frost patterns preserved inside the crystal.

The dark dendritic patterns are thought to be caused by manganese oxide minerals that formed along tiny internal fractures or growth zones within the fluorite. Rather than being plant fossils, these markings are natural mineral deposits that create delicate branching patterns as mineral-rich fluids move through the stone.

The white feather-like inclusions in this material are identified as barite, a barium sulphate mineral that can occur alongside fluorite in mineral-rich environments. These white inclusions are sometimes mislabelled as scolecite or zinc silicate, but barite is a more accurate identification for this particular Chinese material.

What makes Dendritic Fluorite especially interesting is the way it preserves multiple mineral events within one crystal. The fluorite itself provides the colourful translucent body, while the manganese-rich dendrites and white barite inclusions create layered internal scenery. Because each inclusion pattern formed naturally, no two pieces display exactly the same arrangement of feathers, branches, or colour zoning.

Over years of meditation, energetic practice, and working closely with crystals, I’ve come to view purification as a process of energetic recalibration — gently restoring a crystal to a clearer and more balanced energetic state.

Before arriving to their new home, crystals often pass through many environments, storage spaces, and hands along their journey. My intention with this process is to help clear stagnant energetic residue and support the crystal’s natural resonance and clarity.

After exploring many different purification methods over time, I found sound-based energy work using Angel tuning forks to be one of the most aligned and effective approaches for energetic clearing and recalibration.

Each crystal is carefully purified using high-frequency 4096 Hz sound, helping create a calmer and more energetically aligned foundation before being shared with you.

Once energetically cleared, every crystal is then prepared through meditation with intention, presence, and unconditional love. This is the activation. 

For me, unconditional love represents the deepest state of compassion, connection, and healing — something cultivated through many years of personal inner work, emotional healing, and spiritual practice.
