Green apophyllite is a rarer colour of apophyllite, known for its cool, minty-green hue. Unfortunately, many sellers mistake (or mislabel) green calcite that has formed with stilbite as green apophyllite. A simple rule of thumb: if the colour leans toward a soft minty green rather than a spring-leaf green, it’s most likely genuine green apophyllite. Also calcite should scratch easily with your nail.
